11 million people is our parade viewing audience this year as we, along with our Northwest Festival Hosing Association co-hort reciprocally travel across the border to participate in each other's parades.

Huge crowds greeted over 100 entries at the Capital Lakefair Parade in Olympia Washington yesterday. Hyack's First Nations First Cities float did New Westminster proud, winning the award for "Best Overall Appeal to Children."

For 6 months each year, we host festivals and parades, attracting an audience from a vast geographic region comprising not just one but two enormous coast-hugging States, Washington and Oregon, and one western province - British Columbia, all encapsulated under the heading 'Cascadia.'
