The annual Hyack International Parade is our province’s largest family-oriented parade with over 120 entries from throughout BC, Washington, and Oregon. You won’t want to miss the high-energy, colourful and entertaining procession of floats, marching bands, community groups, mascots, performance artists, and more that fill the streets of New Westminster. It’s a “can’t miss” event for the entire family!

Whether you're a large corporation with a fabulous float, a small business with a brightly decorated vehicle & costumed staff, or even a community club that knows how to whoop it up in a fun marching formation, we want you to join us!

Bring out your community spirit, promote your brand and brighten the smiles of a huge captive audience!

We highly encourage a wide variety of fun participants, from fabulous floats & marching bands, to dance/theatre troupes, drill teams, military groups, community clubs and more. If you need ideas to make your entry unique, feel free to reach out.

If you love to embrace an exciting, over-the-top spirit and can think outside the box to captivate the thousands of parade-watchers on our route, Hyack is excited to welcome you into our 50th Annual International Parade!

We are requiring all entries to be fun, entertaining and enthusiastic!

Consider adding over-the-top vehicle decorations, or themed costumes and an energetic marching routine. Comedic entries that are family-friendly are always encouraged. Contact us for ideas if you need suggestions :)
