About the event
A free 4-hour Latin dance festival at Belmont Plaza featuring multicultural dances from local DJ and Dancer Nick Guarna. This artist led workshop has guided group dancing, and an open dance floor for all ages/abilities. We're highlighting dances inspired by football goal celebrations (salsa, samba, cumbia, merengue) and create space for the crowing Latin community in New Westminster to come together to celebrate and share their culture.
- 2:00 – 4:00: Guided group dances
- 4:00 – 6:00: DJ – led open dance floor for people to show off their new moves!
- 6:00 PM: Community closing circle.
